The SEC is a group of organisations and individuals with an interest in space education.

The Aims of the SEC are:
To promote Space (its exploration, research and application) in education.
To act as a co-ordinating organisation for other organisations and individuals involved or interested in the educational values of space.
To allow its members to exchange information and to combine expertise and experience in the different sectors of space education.

The SEC is the operational organisation of the Space Education Trust (SET).

The Sir Arthur Clarke Awards - The Space equivalent of the Oscars
The 2008 Sir Arthur Clarke Awards were presented on March 29 at the UK Space Conference.
THE SEC members select the winner of the award for Achievement in Education. This year's winner was
The Faulkes Telescope Project. For more details, go to the website at www.clarkeawards.org.
